This write up is going to be done in stages as the vehicle is in the process of being restored.

Here is a little bit of information about the background on this car, Ruby whos full name is Skoda Favorit Qualitaire Estate is
one of 300 sold so they are a rare find on the roads these days.

First registered in April 1994 in Buckinghamshire and to date only done 37,000 miles and passing it's MOT with flying colours
it is now owned by a member of The Skoda Club GB, and will no doubt be at a few classic car shows once finished.

First stage of this project was to fully vacuum out the interior, followed by shampooing the seats, carpets and boot area.
All interior plastics were cleaned and dressed and the interior glass cleaned.

Next part of the car to get a clean is the engine bay, here are a few before pictures.

   

   

First task was to cover up any areas that may get damaged due to water, then once done the engine bay and bonnet was sprayed
with engine cleaner and then gently brushed to aid the cleaning process.

Once done the engine bay was rinsed using clean non presurised water, this stops any water being forced into any electrical components, after rinsing the engine was started and allowed to run for a couple of minutes to aid drying, then finished by hand.

To complete the job the plastics, pipes and hoses were dressed and protected, the body work dressed with a
quick detailer to leave a glossy finish.
